After Mickey made a surprise appearance at the Hotel Martinez in 2025, Disney wanted to build on the magic. The challenge for 2026 was to evolve an already iconic moment and create an even more memorable welcome to Cannes Lions.

Last year's installation had already captured attention along the Croisette. This year, the ambition was to elevate the idea without loosing the simplicity and surprise that had made it so successful.
The answer became clear: Mickey needed Minnie by his side.
Working closely with Disney, we reimagined the pair as larger-than-life sculptures standing 12 feet tall and finished entirely in gold - an elegant extension of the Hotel Martinez entrance.
Playful, polished and impossible to miss, the installation brought Disney magic to one of Cannes’ most recognisable landmarks and captured attention from the moment it appeared.
The Hotel Martinez loved the concept so much that its traditionally silver rotunda sign was transformed to gold, completing the takeover and turning the entire entrance into one spectacular Disney arrival.
Because some brand moments are designed to be noticed. This one was also designed to be remembered.
